Do you know someone who is mad about pugs?

Or maybe someone who is mad about pugs and a bit Scroogey about Christmas?

Or possibly even someone who is just Scroogey about Christmas and likes dogs?

Or, I mean, a fan of “dad jokes”?

My ‘Bah Humpug!’ card is a card for pug and pun-lovers alike. ;)

The original very limited edition of just 7 prints used to print this card is available to buy and you can read more about the grumpy canine over on the blog.

The perfect card for your sprout-loving friends and family this Christmas!

I was really pleased with how the reduction linocut for these sprouts turned out—it has a sort of vintage Ladybird books look that is really pleasing if you grew up on those classics of English literature!

I have a friend who has some very cheeky geese which send one goose to distract the humans while the others get up to mischief like scrumping apples in the autumn!

I’d had the idea for this card for a little while but decided to use Canada geese as they seem even more cantankerous than all the others and you wouldn’t want to mess with them if they refused to lay...

Revealing: Limited VS Open Edition Prints

All the original fine art prints you see in the gallery were hand-printed by me.

If there’s a number on the print, e.g. 12/30, that means it’s part of a Limited Edition. It’s print number twelve in an edition of just 30 prints. I won’t print any more from that block—ever—so when they’re gone, they’re gone!

Open Edition prints, marked O/E under the print, are a great way to collect original art—they’re more affordable than the Limited Edition prints as I can print as many as the block will allow before it disintegrates.

Below is a video of me printing one of my rare coloured prints. Anemone is an Open Edition print and is available to buy for just £10.

Here's how the back of the prints looks after I've rubbed the paper to transfer the ink from the block, and the satisfying moment when the print is revealed.

“I bought two prints as gifts - they were even more lovely in real life, my friend was thrilled by ‘Muzzle Nuzzle’ and said she could almost smell the horse! I look forward to giving the other as a Christmas present - arrived very quickly and packaged well - trying to work out what to buy next for myself!”
