Postage, Packaging, and Returns

 

POSTAGE & PACKAGING

Deliveries in the UK will be made by the Post Office Royal Mail or ParcelForce – some higher value orders may require a signature on delivery. All costs are calculated at checkout.

WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE

All our prints are sold unframed, backed on acid free mount board, and wrapped in bio-based film. Prints are all printed by Louise Barr in the studio.

Your print will be delivered in a recycled, recyclable cardboard and paper envelope, a recycled cardboard mailer, or a sturdy cardboard tube depending on its size.

There may also be a recycled, recyclable corrugated cardboard bumper in the envelope to further protect your print from damage in transit.

Even the tape we use is paper-based rather than plastic and is fully recyclable.

Greetings cards are posted in recycled, recyclable cardboard and paper envelopes, or a recycled cardboard mailer depending on the quantity.

Please do not hesitate to contact us regarding cancellation, returns or any other problems.

TO THE UK

Unless otherwise stated, we ship all prints to UK mainland addresses insured with the Royal Mail which will require a signature on delivery.

Delivery for prints starts at £5 to all UK addresses. This usually takes 48 hours, but times are subject to change at the moment.

If you’re based outside the UK, please contact us to enquire about shipping.

Card quantities fewer than ten are posted with Royal Mail, with no signature required.

For most deliveries a tracking number will be sent to you once the items have been received into the postal system. This number will be sent via the website.

Taxes: All customs charges, taxes or import duties that may be payable are the sole responsibility of the purchaser.

We use Royal Mail for our deliveries as it has by far the lowest reported carbon footprint per parcel delivery in the UK.

DELIVERY TIMES

We aim to ship orders within 3/4 days of receipt.

Unless otherwise stated, for UK addresses, smaller prints are shipped by Royal Mail Special Delivery (which will arrive the day after shipping). Larger items are generally sent by ParcelForce using their 48 hours service.

If you’re purchasing a gift and need delivery by a specific date please contact us first.

RETURNS

In the event that your product arrives damaged please contact us.

Under the Consumer Contracts (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, you are entitled to cancel your contract by giving us notice before you receive the goods or within 7 working days of receipt of the goods. If you wish to exercise this right prior to dispatch of goods please contact us.

If you are unsatisfied with your order, please follow our Shipping and Returns policy. You must do this within 28 days of receiving the order. Any claims made after this 28 day period will not be eligible for a refund.

Please note that we are unable to reimburse you for any shipping costs.

We will not issue a full refund if items are missing. Please keep your proof of postage for future reference, should your goods get lost in the post.

In the event that the returned goods are never received by us, we will request the proof of postage in order to issue a refund. If you are not able to provide this proof, we reserve the right not to issue a refund in this case.

Postage, packing and insurance incurred in the delivery of the goods to you are direct costs and cannot be refunded except where an item is faulty or the delivered order is incorrect.

Refunds will be made via the same method of payment used to purchase the goods once we receive the goods back from you at our premises.

If you are not able to return the goods in a perfect condition or without the original packaging then we may charge you for any reduction in value of the goods as a result.

You will be responsible for all returned goods until they reach our premises. We strongly advise that you obtain a proof of postage certificate or other means of verifying carriage to my premises when returning any part of you order.

Please note your right to return goods does not apply to commissioned items, special orders or gift vouchers all of which can only be returned or exchanged if faulty.

None of the above will affect your statutory rights.

REFUNDS

Once your return is received, we will contact you to let you know that we have received your returned item and whether we are able to approve your refund.

If approved, your refund will be processed and credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 14 days.
