Crocus
A lino print of group of striped crocus flowers in white on a purple printed background.
Edition size: Open Edition
Medium: Oil-based ink
Paper: Japanese Masa
Image size (h x w): 4.25 x 6.25in
Paper size (h x w): 5 x 7in
The paper will fit a 13 x 18cm (5 x 7in) picture frame—though you can go larger—and I recommend using a professional framer.
Each print has been hand-pulled; and in a departure from my usual methods, I allowed the larger block of purple to print with some variation in each impression. The area of solid colour is deliberately not flat.
This means every print is a unique in its own small way and I really like that. It stops them looking mass produced/graphic designed and reminds the viewer that this was made by a real person—me!—in my studio.
The price here is for an unframed, unmounted print with an acid free backing board.
